YAYA IS AN AMAZING SERVICE

LIVING IN A 2 BEDROOM UPPER WEST SIDE APARTMENT, MANAGING A SUCCESSFUL CAREER AS A MEDIA CONSULTANT, ALEX, A YOUNG MOTHER OF A 2-YEAR-OLD DAVID, COULDN’T DEAL WITH THE NUMBER OF TOYS PILING UP IN HER HOME AND THE TIME SHE SPENT ON CHOOSING EACH ONE TO BUY.

This is what she had to say after trying YAYA’s personalized toy box.

“YaYa is an amazing service that allowed me to bring new toys to my house frequently to help keep my son engaged. He tends to get bored with toys within a few weeks and we end up accumulating so many toys in his play area since we live in a small NYC apartment YaYa’s boxes practically saved our living room! Allowing us to return the toys when he was done playing with them.”

Q: BUT IT WASN’T ONLY ABOUT GAINING CONTROL OVER YOUR LIVING ROOM, RIGHT?

No, not at all. It saved me a tremendous amount of time and effort in trying to figure out which new toys to buy.

I usually spend most of my time on my commute to work browsing through toys and recommendations, cause I truly care about developing the right skills during playtime.

THIS BOX HAD EVERYTHING I WOULD CHOOSE MYSELF AND OTHER AWESOME TOYS I DIDN’T EVEN THINK OF.

Q: WERE YOU CONCERNED WITH THE FACT IT WAS USED TOYS?

I didn’t really know what to expect, but honestly it exceeded my expectations. I mean, David plays with so-called used toys every day at his daycare, sharing them with other kids, so I wasn’t thinking much about it. I would say, each toy was packed and sparkling clean, had all parts and looks almost new.

Q: WHAT WOULD YOU SAY WAS MOST BENEFICIAL FOR YOUR KIDS IN YAYA’S UNIQUE RETURNING BOX?

I explain to David this is a changing box using the guided manual I found in the box and that at some point we’ll need to put all the toys back into the box and send them off to the next child to play with. He was very curious about it and kept bringing it up in such cute ways! Even during playdates, while clean up time. I think it increased his ability to share.

Q: WHAT WOULD YOU SAY WAS MOST BENEFICIAL FOR YOU?

It saved so much time and money! I always have buyer's remorse when David stops playing with something I got him. I’m spending a good amount of our family’s budget on David and his surroundings, trying to keep his environment green, clean and educational. By easily sharing and swapping his toys I have more money to spend on extra activities and more time for myself and the beloved podcast I listen to on the train.
